Get Bruce Cabot and Errol Flynn to tell you about the other night when they wandered into a country club where a sorority dance was in progress. The two stars just wanted to get a drink in the bar, but the young ladies spotted them and started a rush. Flynn and Cabot thought it was fine until they got their bar check—$36… *

King Kong Cabot turned from wingman to apeman over the years. His villainy would‘ve been an asset though in “The story of William Tell“ as henchman Jost. One thing is safe to say, it was up to Errol to pick up the tab, since Bruce de Bujac was a reluctant tipper.

WE look at the sums they were paid in those days and think WOW! How could anybody live on that? But the worth of a dollar was so much more then! Adjusted for inflation, $1.00 in 1936 is equal to $17.86 in 2018.
