Not a bad guess for the actor who got his big break, Ralph, as he was The Texan, and he was a bit randy. When his wife sued him for divorce, she claimed he had 79 adulterous affairs. He denied that, claiming he had more than twice that.

Tim, you might be talking about Rory Calhoun in „The Great John L“ where he played „Gentleman Jim“ Corbett, one of Errol‘s favourite parts (mine, too, and not because of the topless role ;-) ).

Oh, thank YOU, Claudia, and all the quiz players! That is indeed correct! It was Bing’s first production, and he wanted Errol to play the cameo but key role of Gentleman Jim – as any person in their right mind would!
Rory (Calhoun, that is) was no Flynn, but, IMHO, he did an excellent job. It was his first big break. … He also was escorting Lana Turner around town at that time, which was also quite an achievement!

Thanks Tim and thanks Claudia. I always liked Rory Calhoun as an actor and The Great John L was a superb film. I once spoke with actor Paul Picerni who worked with Errrol Flynn in Mara Maru (1952). I told him that I just saw him in a film with Rory Calhoun, and Mr. Picerni said he was easily one of the nicest guys in Hiollywood.
