    Modeling a suit..
    Are those the friends he had in spain that had a fashion house?
    The lady on his lap isnt Pat…must be the wife of Errol’s friend…cant remember their names.
    Errol taught the girls of the couple how to swim..
    Mallorca 1956 or so

    Very good, that’s most of it, Selene. It’s the famous high fashion model and designer, Gaby Young-Mackinnon, sitting on Errol’s lap. She and her husband were close friends and next door of Pat and Errol in Majorca, where the photos with Errol were taken, and where Gaby ran a then-prominent haute-couture business. Errol occasionally appeared at her local shows, much to the thrill of many women in attendance. He appears in this 1958 runway photo to be humorously mimicking the moves of female models.

      58? He wasnt in mallorca at that time..he was with Bev..
      Are you sure it wasnt 1956? Possibly 57..but I saw that polo before and he wore it often in 56 or so.
      In 58 he was in Africa, Paris, Jamaica, New York..not sure about Spain

        I cannot independently confirm the year, Selene. I’m simply quoting the photo caption in the article.

        ERROL FLYNN, PICTURED HERE IN 1958 ON THE CATWALK DURING YOUNG-MACKINNON’S FASHION SHOW, OFTEN ACTED AS EMCEE. FLYNN AND HIS THIRD WIFE, ACTRESS PATRICE WYMORE, WERE BEST FRIENDS WITH THE MACKINNONS. (Caps in original)

        If you have evidence establishing the photo was actually taken in ’56 or. ’57, and/or that Errol was not in Spain at any time during 1958, please post it. Thank you.

        In any case, I don’t see the date being nearly as significant as the other facts in the article, especially not the central points of how prominent Gaby Young was, and how close she was to Errol and Pat in Majorca.
