Errol swims in the movie, too.

Hi Tina. It wasn’t Gentleman Tim, but, like Gentleman Jim Corbett, the character Errol played was also a real-life American of Irish descent.

Another famous “location” in the movie can be seen these days cruising around Puget Sound and British Columbia.

It‘s been a while since I watched it but could it be „Too much too soon“, Tim?

VERY Impressive, Claudia! That was an extremely tough quiz, with some very obscure clues. Big Congratulations to you!

Here’s the film. The clues referred to can all be found in about the first half hour, at approximately 8, 16:30, and 31 minutes in. My next clues would likely have related to John Barrymore’s vulture and Sutton Place near the Queensboro Bridge (unnamed in the movie, but visually depicted) where the tennis bum really shows what a detestable bum he was.

        Thanks Tim! Another fabulous quiz!
I really have to watch that movie again. Probably one of Errol‘s most underrated performances. That scene when he quotes from Henry V always makes me wonder what he could have accomplished had he been given a chance to star in different roles.

Thanks Barb! I love a good challenge and Tim always delivers.

Tim, may I ask what the „cruising location“ was?

Here she is, Claudia: JB’s legendary steel-hulled motor yacht, Infanta – now long known as the Thea Foss – cruising the majestic Pacific Northwest. Infanta was the “location” where Errol played Henry V in Too Much Too Soon … before he fell into the breach.

Thanks so much, Tim – that‘s really interesting. I had no idea the Infanta was still around. Would be awesome to take a cruise in that magnificent part of the world on such a storied yacht!
