Lamazing lead, Headwaiter Tim. La Maze was also the Battling Bogarts‘ favourite waterhole or shall we say battleground. One night an overall fistfight ensued, Bogart dove under a table only to find David Niven and his wife already hiding there. But Mrs. Bogart ,Mayo, was missing. When asked where she was, Bogey replied stoney faced:“No worry, she can handle herself.“
