I was eleven and I cried my eyes out. Seriously!

I was ten years old. I saw the news in my father’s newspaper. I remember exactly what I thought: “Oh, I liked him …” I could not have realized what a huge effect his life and career would have on mine, all of the people I have met because of my interest in him and the friendships made including his daughter Rory Flynn. I am at her house in Atlanta right now.

A huge loss but his movies and his flamboyant personality will never be forgotten.
I was only born 10 years later and it was a bit weird to become a fan of someone who was already gone but there was no way to resist…

As a point of information, I just had to look it up (in the previously referenced source: Errol Flynn The Illustrated Life Chronology)… the lady sort of cradling Errol’s head is Beverly’s friend Linda Tartar.
