What in our humble but extremely well-informed(!) opinions are Errol’s best kisses!?! He had a lot of good ones, I know, but maybe we can select what we regard his top ten.
I’ll help kick things off with this one, which I find especially poignant, not only because of what was being portrayed in the lives of Libby & George Custer, but also because all the difficulties (medical and otherwise) Errol was going through in his own life immediately before and during filming this magnificent motion picture:

What a spectacular selection, daringthorpe. It’s hard – maybe impossible – to top that one! The most beautiful couple in the history of Hollywood – at their physical peaks – so deeply attracted to each other, and so clearly in love.
P.S. daringthorpe. I thought you might pick one of those daring Geoffrey Thorpe kisses. … Perhaps even the daring one at 1:21 in this wonderful video – She was His Sunlight:

Yes they really were lovely together on screen.
Another great Errol kiss I like is in The Perfect Specimen when he kisses Joan Blondell about 3 times in a row,it is the scene towards the end of the movie where they are staying at the Hotel waiting for the rain to stop,and he tells her he loves her. :)

Wow that video is great,thanks again to Inga.You know what,I love Errol’s smooching scene’s from Istanbul,but there are so many great ones to pick from in that video,They Died With Their Boots On have some of the best kissing scenes & I had forgotten that Inga’s video shows a couple of scenes from The Perfect Specimen with those great kisses he gives Joan Blondell.Lovely! :)

That sure is a terrific video Inga put together, Lollie – and a great reference for selecting some of Errol’s best kisses. Maybe Inga can tell us which she thinks are his best!

I’ve been quite busy recently so I couldn’t follow the blog as usual. Thanks for posting my video and for liking it, Tim and Lollie. However, I could not say which one was Errol’s “best” kiss – again, it’s a question of which criteria you use here. Technique? Your personal shiver degree while watching? What is a “great” kiss? I don’t know… I think only the ones being kissed can say that…

Well, Lollie & daringthorpe – until others jump in – t looks like it’s up to. us for now! ! Naturally, we only need to consider the cinematic quality, wondrousness, and audience appeal of Errol’s kisses. I think Inga’s excellent video already does that, and we have other superb online sources, as well – plus, of course, all the original films. To begin with, maybe we should each choose one from Inga’s “Hot Kisses”? If you’re up for that, Ladies First! (Perhaps we can identify by time markers – e.g. @ 2:41 – as well as by film, if we know the kiss’s film.) I’m sure others have their own favorites!

In Honor of Eleanor I had hoped to find a great kiss between her & Errol. Without immediate access to the two (similarly-titled) films they starred in together – Escape Me Never & Never Say Goodbye – I cannot yet include any visual evidence of their kisses. But they sure did dance well together. In both films, I believe. Seems to me there may at least have been some light-hearted, humorous kisses in Never Say Goodbye, maybe immediately preceding or following Errol’s fighting with Forrest. And there must have been in the much heavier Escape Me Never. Right? … Well, even without enough evidence yet to nominate Eleanor, I think the deeply-emotional kissing linked below between Ida & Errol does qualify for our list, though it’s borne out of “Romantic Fury”, rather than pure happiness.
