      Oddly enough… Orlando named his son “Flynn” as we know. And many times when I watched him (Orlando Bloom) in The “Pirates of the Caribbean” series; I used to remark that HE could play a young Errol Flynn. I wonder if he had a love of the old swashbuckler himself?

        I think you’re right – he could have played young Flynn … and would still be a very good candidate to portray Errol in his 30’s. He’s probably one of the very few (male) stars around who can credibly act in tights and pirate outfits – essential, of course, for any one daring to portray Errol Flynn – particulary on the big screen. He’s got panache.

        No doubt he’s a longtime Flynn fan and named his boy after Errol. Gotta love that! Just for that alone, I say put him at the head of the audition line. …. And his boy can play Sean!

    For a guy born in the UK he really gets cold! LOL! NY state can get cold but UK is even more damp. Some on other sites judge him for not gloving his son. Maybe Flynn was not that cold. It looks like Mom was not far behind and she had no gloves on. By the why, I get a kick out of multiple names and Orlando’s mother has more than I’ve ever heard,LOL!
