Great timing since I just received this Bogart collection. I wonder why more Flynn films are not on Blu Ray?
I already watched The Maltese Falcon. So far so good.

“The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre” Are we there yet? LOL! Couldn’t resist that! Oh well…. Of course I loved all Bogie’s flicks! However “The Petrified Forest” is actually one of my favorites over all! He was real scarey in that one when I was a kid. When he was young he would have made a good casting for Bond!

On the Casablanca disc there is a film about Curtiz which features Errol quite a bit. It shows a scene from Dodge City which look great. Now this is on Blu Ray and the parts of Dodge City are the same as the DVD but they just looked better for obvious reasons. I hope they do something with his other Technicolor films one day for Blu Ray. Also featured is Spielberg who loves Curtiz and talks about Flynn very highly which I was happy to hear since I remember something about him not liking Flynn because of the Nazi thing. Anyone else remember something about that?

Isn’t that wonderful! Could the little dog pulling the cart be Arno perhaps? :)

P.S. The whole Errol/Bogie scenes from Never Say Goodbye always make me laugh, great scenes from a great movie. :D

Very observant, Lollie! Maybe that is Arno!! How cool!!!

I believe this artwork and article were published several months before Robin Hood was released, so Bogie probably was seeing Arno around Warner Brothers and elsewhere about Hollywood with Errol. Considering all that – now that you point it out – who else could it be but Arno!?!
