Thank you. I am glad to be here as one of Errol’s fans.

I consider this is one of the most gorgeous Errol photos. It must be at his prime. His features were just perfect.* I am not surprised that women would be crazy for him. Who would not?

*Perfect may be an overused word. Should we say exquisite, delicate, refined and ethereal? To me, all these descriptions can be applied to this breathtaking photo.

      Another my favorite.

He was so cute and knowing. You can sense he was a precocious 4 years old. In MWWW, he said he was proud of his ability to observe since very little. This picture shows it–he had known quite a bit for a 4 years old.

Odd that you waited till June, May, but welcome aboard! May all your skies be blue ones.

I see you didn’t delay in springing forth with some great photos & gifs!! Thanks.

I’m not certain, but Errol may be talking to my grandfather’s cousin, Paul Kelly, in one or more of those gifs!

Thank you Tim. I like when you said, “May all your skies be blue ones.”

I remember it is Irish greeting.

Can anyone tell me where I can watch Errol’s films on big screen in the US? Any place routinely shows his films? I want to watch his movies on big screen first before on TV screen.

I am relatively a new fan. When I was a little girl, I must have seen a lot of his films. But I forgot Errol completely in addition to his name. In March, the news of Errol’s widow’s death triggered me to rediscover Errol. Since then I have embarked on my search on Errol and have bought several books about him. I saw his films when I was little but i don’t recall any of them.

In which area do you live, errolsfan? That would help to answer the question. Most large American metropolitan areas have at least one revival theater that shows classic films.

As I recently posted for another blogger, the only theater left in New York that shows classic films is Film Forum:

                www.filmforum.com…

Gone are the NY days in the ’60s and ’70s when there were great revival theaters like The Regency on Broadway–now demolished but where Olivia de Havilland once attended a Flynn retrospective, and where, along with TLA in Philadelphia I cut my teeth on classic films on the big screen. Fortunately, Los Angeles, where I’ve lived for decades, still has several revival houses. You’ll just have to move here, errolsfan!

Could you list the revival house names or their websites in LA? I will follow their schedules.

If they run a Errol festival, I may very likely be there just to watch Errol’s films.

I think, the gorgeous picture above is from the time of his arrival in England when an agent told him to produce a brochure of his talents in order to find work in the theater.

Within 3+ months–you be surprised–how much I have learned, read and discovered. In the Internet age, information flows much faster.

I did vaguely remember I watched quite a lot of Errol’s films when I was little, even though I didn’t recall any of the scenes now. I believe that’s why I have such a passion for Errol because those early memories must be embedded in the deepest layers of a girl’s consciousness. Even though I was too little to verbalize it, those early exposures must have a much deeper impact on me than I was able to realize at the time. I must like Errol very much at the time. That’s the only way I can explain to myself why I have such a passion for Errol once I re-discovered him. It is almost like rekindling a relationship with a long lost close friend.
