I have not seen the film. So no judgment of it. Hopefully it does justice to Errol.
According to the linked review, Klein is at his 60s playing Errol at his 50s, but isn’t acting supposed to pretend to be someone else regardless of the age difference? Hopefully, Klein has the talent to make Errol come to life (a hard task though).
There definitely exists a compelling love story between Errol and Beverly. Hopefully, the film captures it.

I suspect Kevin Klein does a superb job. He’s a natural to play Flynn and has the acting chops to pull it off. And Susan Sarandon, always very good, should have a field day with such a juicy role. Dakota Fanning is not in their league yet, but she is good, does have a resemblance to Bev, and will bring an additional demographic of audience.
Though I haven’t seen the film, I suspect it’s low budget will gravely hold back the production needed to properly reflect the life of Errol Flynn. Moreover, it’s the worst slice of Errol’s incredible life to make a movie about. I believe it was made because the writers/directors had some sort of special access and/or rights to the input of Beverly and others involved with Errol and/or Bev during the late 50s in LA. Without such access, I seriously doubt many filmakers would select this part of Errol Flynn’s life to make a Hollywood movie about. If they did, however, the story would have been better served with a better budget, and different screenplay – perhaps, for instance, one based more on Earl Conrad’s Memoirs of Errol Flynn. IMO, that book provides more opportunities for a better movie.
But that’s how the world works. I hope it’s Great!

Celebrating a love story.
Beverly’s husband, Ronald Fisher, said his wife never stopped loving Flynn and told him once that “if he was still around, I’d be with him.”
He joked back to her, “Well, it’d be crowded, wouldn’t it?”
Errol dedicated his MWWW to My Small Companion.
True love takes every possible form and shape in real life, but our convention likes to label it. Not only labels it but labels it negatively.
My humble opinion–why label it; let them enjoy it; life is certainly very short.
