    Hi Robert;
    I am glad your wife agrees and a very good thing for you, you must be a happy camper!
    You have my full attention in regards to your most recent “Then & Now”, which one are you referring to? I must have missed it. I love your “Then and Now” postings, they are the best ever!
    I told you I want to go with you on your next expedition, if you don't mind Grandma tagging along, of course all depends on my husbands recuperation status too, touch wood – he is doing fine far!

    I hope I have not had anything to do with a missing post of yours! I delete all these spam comments regularly that are attached to various articles and hope that I haven't accidentally also deleted any post that was associated with them. I can delete both here on the blog and via email links I receive and if I hit the wrong link (they look similar) I might have deleted an entire post so if this is what happened please forgive and do repost!

    These are truly amazing and to think you have stood so many times on the exact spot these images were made and where Flynn himself stood. How many of us can say they have walked the same ground many times that Errol did?

    Let me add that is quite astonishing to see the ground in its natural color the way Flynn, cast and crew did when these films were made that we know only in black and white!

    Thank you, David. It really is a thrill and never ceases to be with each location. What with the Then & Now book ready to go, the Chronology speeding towards completion, and The Making of Robin Hood already in the beginning stages, I daresay I may be getting dangerously close to critical Flynn consumption! But as the bumper sticker says, “It's not an addiction, I enjoy every second of it”!

    I agree. in fact, at the start of this project I had planned on keeping b&w as b&w, but the very observation you make was what changed my mind. Plus, my wife liked it better!
