I’ve added a new category called Member Chat where any post completely unrelated to Errol Flynn like Genene’s about her new television system can be posted and commented on. These postings will not appear on the front page of the blog. As a reminder, you can tick other categories besides the default Main Page of the blog that your post can fit into, one or more, to help fill out the blog, and making exploring the categories more fruitful for readers before you publish. You can go update your older posts to include other categories, too. Or, you can untick Main Page, and post just to one or more other categories. Your post won’t show up on the Main Page but will be listed on the sidebar, in the new articles/posts area.

I believe my entry is about Errol as we have the original sign from the Spirit of Tasmania mounted above the door to the cinema. And the walls are adorned with Errol memorabilia. However Steve was watching Football at the time. May be if he was watching an EF movie it would be more relevant. Genene.

What sort of posts about Errol qualify to be put on the main page then?
Also,if all threads cannot be posted on the main page it makes them easily missed.As I mostly only visit the blog now & then, by that time posts that I have missed are no longer listed on the ‘recent posts’ side bar,as it only lists about 10 at a time?
If you don’t visit here that often,It is hard to have to check through every category to see if there are any new posts since your last visit once they are no longer on the side bar area for recent posts.

All posts can be posted on the Main Page, but also in other categories at the same time or, at your choice, they can only be contributed to certain categories. If you are subscribed to the blog you may not miss them but it is a drawback not to post on Main Page, as you suggest. :-)

Why though has my Errol Flynn Favourite Candid (or any) Photos 2 ! been the only thread taken off the main page while others which are similar concerning only photos of Errol as still there? Do I need to ask who took my thread off the main page? And can it be put back there?

Your post is definitely not the only one that has been re-posted to another category, others have been, too. I am still working on re-organising all this chaos and it takes time. Partly new categories are needed as well. I cannot spend hours doing this every day but I try to do it as best as possible.

Just to note, in the candids category, keep clicking Older Entries to find a ton of candids from the old blog pages. Still no trace of the original post with a record number of comments.

We’re getting a bit confused here, and I’m sorry. Author’s have the choice to publish by default on the Main Page of the blog, or to not publish on the Main Page. You can choose to publish to any other single category, or to multiple categories besides the Main Page. Or, you can publish to the Main Page and one or two other categories at the same time. Most posts are more easily read on the Main Page. If you are the author of the post, you can post it back to the Main Page by updating the post. If your post also can serve readers in other categories, it would be nice to have them appear there, too. In some cases the Admins will add other categories to Author’s posts.
