More costumes
There are quite a lot of costumes auctioned off at the moment, including the famous Don Juan costume which you cannot see in the film. I always thought it was black, but is apparently of a beautiful dark green colour. Anybody in for the cash?
Against the 6000$, this lot of several costumes is peanuts!
And for the ladies:
Tina, this shows in a way that a serious dealer is able to track down the origin of a costume. Maybe your trousers were never used in a film? Which could be a reason for the low price and why there is no film title written in them?
Here are some more: from Silver River: www.rrauction.com…
Captain Blood: entertainment.ha.com…
The Sun Also Rises: www.liveauctioneers.com…
Interestingly, the red Don Juan costume you can see here (lifeisexamined.blogspot.com…) when you scroll down a little was up for auction in 2002 (www.icollector.com…), but it was not sold. I wonder how it made its way to the exhibition…
Hope you enjoyed!
