Who Wrote This?

17 Jan

Today and tomorrow will be the Flynn place to be, Flynncluding at the Coronado Library, which is hosting some of the many great events at the Coronado Island Film Festival.

As did Errol himself, numerous Flynn Crowd celebrities used to visit Coronado. One notable Flynnsider who lived on the island wrote the following tribute to the Coronado Library. Who was she or he?

More stamps and other items (collection) on Errol Flynn! First 3 images are from an original complete stamp album by Clipper in Barcelona for the first release in Spain. It contains 144 stamps from the The Adventures of Robin Hood film.

Through research I came up with this. Sorry, quality not that great but still interesting.

Very Rare Booty!

10 Jun

Jack Marino writes to us in the EFB Mailbag:

David,

I saw Rare Booty on your blog, what is very rare is that the brick from the corner of Errol’s fireplace at Mulholland is under this figure. I took it from the floor after the house was torn down.

I bought this figure in 1973 painted, it was lead and they made a pewter one which my friend Steve has who was with me the day the Mulholland house was demolished.

Best, Jack
